Open Options named Milestone Solution Partner of the Year

February 12 - 14 Open Options participated in the technology showcase and training at MIPS 2009 (Milestone Integration Platform Symposium) at the Red Rock in Las Vegas.

Carrollton, TX - February 20, 2009:  At this year's MIPS Technology Showcase Open Options demonstrated their access control solution, DNA Fusion, along with the tight integration with Milestone's XProtect IP Video Management Software. Attendees from across the globe were able to see firsthand the benefits of features such as live camera call-up, event driven PTZ control, and video playback through a common interface.

A total of 18 other Milestone technology partners were at MIPS to display solutions ranging from IP cameras to video analytics. Open Options was the only partner to demonstrate IP video integration with true open platform access control. In keeping with this year's MIPS theme, "Milestone the Long Term Business Partner for Sustainable Growth", Open Options was recognized as the 2008 Milestone Solution Partner of the Year.

"Open Options was also there to attend Milestone's SDK training/certification in hopes to further advance the integration between DNA Fusion and XProtect and develop a bi-directional interface that allows access control data to be sent directly to the Milestone Smart Client. "The Milestone SDK training was both informative and solution driven. Overall, MIPS 2009 was a huge success for Open Options. Not only did Open Options reach an important audience with technology demonstrations, but also gained valuable insights to strengthen the product integration and the relationship with Milestone Systems.
